| University Hills is a triangular neighborhood immediately west of the University Park and Wellshire neighborhoods. Interstate 25, Colorado Boulevard and Hampden Avenue/Highway 285 delineate its boundaries. The neighborhood is largely made up of single-family residences. Residents benefit from easy access to Interstate 25 and Highway 285. The neighborhood’s Mamie Dodd Eisenhower Park features a recreation center, playing fields, tennis courts, a playground and an outdoor pool. Some of the neighborhood’s unique businesses include the Sunflower Market, specializing in organic food, Beau Jo’s -- home of the Colorado-style pizza pie, and Chez Artiste, a theater showing independent films. |
